The Louisiana Fire Chiefs Academy is a comprehensive training opportunity for current fire chiefs and those who aspire to be fire chiefs.

August 1st - Cohort Contacted with Course Details & Invoice

APPLICATION PROCESS
Submit your application to LFCAF via the link below (will be live July 1st @ 8 AM). After reviewing applicants, the cohort will be selected and notified in preparation for the Fall 2024 Fire Chiefs Academy.  

Tuition is $600 for LFCA members & $700 for non-members (includes 1st year dues). Tuition is not due until the cohort has been notified & invoiced. Breakfast is provided by the host hotel. Tuition includes hotel accommodations, lunch, and happy hours; dinner is on your own. 

We are planning for this Academy to be a 2-year process. This 2024 Fall Academy is in the inaugural cohort, and the intent is to host a second academy in 2025 for second years (including the second-year research project; and a new class of first years). There are limited spaces available for the inaugural cohort.
